Our Story
Black Cat Diner was born from a simple conviction: Salem deserves a place that refuses to choose between morning and night. We opened our doors on Boston Street with a counter that welcomes laptop screens at 7 a.m. and cocktail glasses at 9 p.m.
Our kitchen sources from local farms and bakes everything from scratch. Our bar team treats every pour like a conversation — attentive, unhurried, and honest. The result is a space that feels as comfortable at noon as it does past midnight.
This isn't a diner that does cocktails. It's a cocktail bar that never closes the kitchen. That's the distinction that matters.
